Unfortunately the lovely people at Tower Hamlets Council have shut down the weekly Shameless Disco club night i put on at Casa Blue - apparently we were too loud! Shameless Disco will be back soon - we're already talking to loads of clubs - so watch this space!

In the meantime my club night Too Many Egos continues and i'll be DJing at Myth Bar (club above Hope and Anchor), Acre Lane, Clapham / Brixton on 29th March. It's a top night and we're keeping it free entry for possibly the last time so head down and get a free cocktail on me!

Starting with one of my bands of the year (and Mercury Prize winners) the brilliant Klaxons Bugged Out mix album.

Bugged Out round off 2007 following up the success of 'Bugged Out! Suck My Deck' by Simian Mobile Disco and 'Bugged Out! Classics' with a new 'Bugged Out! Mix' package teaming up with top UK band the Klaxons. 'A Bugged Out! Mix' showcases two sides to artists and on this edition with the Klaxons focuses on one CD of their clubbier side, i.e. what Jamie Klaxon plays out in his DJ sets and one CD of their musical influences/home listening choices. Tracks on the album include the Klaxons own mighty version of 'Not Over Yet' along side choice cuts from Justice, The Chemical Brothers, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, Blur, Prodigy and DJ Zinc right through to eclectic sounds from the likes of Josef K, Hawkwind, Roy Orbison, Frankie Valli and the Wu Tang Klan.
